In this series I hope to give you some simple daily habits that you can build to help improve your health over time. It’s best to take 1 at a time and establish that habit so that you’re doing it consistently before you add another one.
A while ago I read about the new thing of drinking fresh celery juice, by itself in the morning before eating anything else. I was like “eh, celery juice” but I already had been drinking juice with kale and similar things for quite a while and enjoy it so why not!
Now I actually enjoy and crave it. Though I am used to eating quite healthily since I transformed my eating several years ago when I lost weight so it wasn’t much of a stretch for me. If you’re regularly eating very unhealthily then it might be a different story.
But if you’re wanting to heal from a chronic illness and develop ideal health, then eating healthily as consistently as you can is one of the important things for you to do! Do you really think it’s going to be ideal for your healing if you’re always eating pizza, chocolate, junkfood, pies, greasy food? No, not at all! Sure, it’s not the only thing, as you also need to deal with the emotional and mental side, stress, past trauma, find practices to help build energy in your body, exercise.. but eating healthy is very important, especially in this context!
This is a whole other discussion that I can expand on another time, but the best way to improve your eating is to change one little thing at a time, adjust to it, then the next one. Adding celery juice in the morning might be a start for you.
I had a little bit of a healing response from it, but if you’ve been eating unhealthily for a long time you might notice more of a healing response. Which is another reason atleast initially I learnt to build slow, and add 1 thing at a time to my healing. I’m able to do it a little more than that now, but at the start you definitely don’t want to go too fast.
What does celery juice do for you?
-Helps heal the gut.
-Anti-Inflammatory.
-Helps liver function better and detox..
-Improves your Digestion.
-Helps deal with bacteria and viruses.
-Reduce blood pressure.
-Helps you detoxify and alkalinize the body.
There’s some more benefits. If you want more detail then this is the page that started a lot of people on drinking celery juice https://www.medicalmedium.com/blog/celery-juice
Instead of bogging you down in details, I want to give you simple habits you can start right now, so I urge you to just try it, have a big glass of it tomorrow morning, start doing it consistently and it will help.
But won’t this cost me a lot of money? –
No! As a last tip – I’ve been reading some people complaining about the cost of this, and I was confused because it’s quite cost efficient and 1 bunch of celery lasts like 4+ days. Well I figured it out, they’re using a juicer, and i’m using a blender which I think is better because it gets all of it and doesn’t waste tons like using a juicer. All you have to do is put a little water in the bottom so that it blends it up, and drink it. I assume it’ll be a little bit thicker than a juicer, but it’s fine and tastes good, and not wasting heaps of it!
I’m sorry though that I don’t have any affiliate links for you to buy celery from. 😛
Get ready for your…
