I’ve watched several videos about icing your testicles to increase testosterone and it had me… curious.
But before you go and get some ice and put it on your balls, it’s important to do it on top of your underwear not directly on your balls. It also is a good idea to start with something that is cold from the refrigerator instead of just the freezer straight away.
Why the fuck would I ice my balls though?
Our testicles do not function well in heat, which actually at times has been used as a contraceptive in the past. Cooling them down allows them to function optimally which helps increase testosterone, circulation and sex drive.
Yes I know it sounds ridiculous, this is why I put it off for a long time.
This week I started doing it, only 5 minutes at night. It was recommended to do it before bed, but I don’t recommend that because it made my sleep issues even worse.
Strangely this brings me to the first effect.
- Even though I really could not sleep icing my balls at night, I just was not tired through the day atleast for the first few days. I seemed to have more consistent energy.
- I noticed I was having more sexual thoughts, and waking up a little more excited. This lessened now that the last few days i’ve been icing in the morning.
- I noticed my voice was slightly deeper.
- And my favourite – An increased sense of grounding and a subtle sense of power and confidence in myself.
The last one made me realize that i’ve done so much work on emotional healing and still am. But that alot of my issues with not being as confident as i’d like and also low energy at times.. is likely due to low testosterone.
I’ve also read that it’s good to do before a workout, I did that today but can’t really say if there was a difference until I do it a few more times.
To sum it up, for me it’s promising enough that I will continue to do this long term.
But How Do I Do This? –
-Get your icepack, or ice blocks in a bag. Or something cold from the fridge and put it on your balls over your underwear. If you aren’t wearing any underwear.. well that’s beyond the scope of this article.
-Start with maybe 2-3 minutes, and work upto 5-10 minutes. I’m only doing 5 minutes once a day. But what i’ve read it suggests 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes each.
–Wake up with wood.
-Optional – Make a facebook post telling your friends that they should all ice their balls too, since it is the ‘latest thing’TM (but unlike most of the ‘latest things’ in virtue signalling, this practice actually has a use other than getting likes from other people who have no substance or critical thinking).
